I've had the pleasure to live many different lives (all in this body). I feel as if a new one is starting. Six years ago I got two speeding tickets in two weeks, the first and second ever. Life was spinning too fast. It's finally slowing down.
I'm doing a lot of things I've always wanted to do now. I'm writing nearly every day. I'm starting foil fencing lessons. I'm exercising regularly. I went to a tattoo parlor. I'll leave you to wonder what I wanted and whether I chickened out or not. I ride a Yamaha Riva 125 scooter, bright red, all over town.
For 17 Mondays each winter, I hang out with a marvelous bunch of three year olds and their moms. It's a structured playgroup I lead with Lynne L at church. I play the biggest bells in our church's bell choir (C3...). We (my family, not the bell choir) have a small sailboat and enjoy hikes. I'm a substitute Student Aide at the elementary school. I'm morally opposed to dusting, but find vacuuming strangely satisfying. I bang on a guitar occasionally. I'm starting to get those B chords down.
I'm blessed with an excellent husband, Roger, and a fine son. I enjoy their company very much. Roger builds and flies remote controlled planes and a helicopter. Stuart loves to read and loves to play with Lego Bionicles and with his buddies.
FRIEND ME! What's up with you?
